Our Peterborough Youth Center, nestled in Boston's historic Fenway neighborhood, offers a free drop-in After School Program and a full-time Summer Academy with the space and staffing to serve up to 12 children (at a time) from low-income families living in subsidized housing. Our programs for youth focus on academic achievement, computer literacy and art. Our programs also promote the importance of positive social skills, teamwork and cultural awareness.

Dorchester Youth Center

Operation P.E.A.C.E. Dorchester Youth Center opened November 2013 with great success! Our 800-sq/ft center is handicap accessible and was built to provide free learning, technology resources, and an activity space for Dorchester residents. Our computer lab has eight workstations and our After School space has the capacity to serve 12 children, grades K-5.

Programs for Seniors

Peterborough Senior Center

Operation P.E.A.C.E took over the programming and operations of the Peterborough Senior Center (PSC) in November 2013. The PSC is the Fenway's only dedicated space for seniors to gather, socialize, and find healthy living programs. The Senior Center works to enrich the lives of seniors with programs and activities covering a broad range: health and physical-activity-related services, arts and cultural activities, intergenerational programs, educational programs and opportunities for civic engagement.

Dorchester Learning Center

Newly opened in 2013, Operation P.E.A.C.E. operates a Computer Learning Center at 15 Norfolk Street to serve the needs of adults of all ages. The lab is primarily for Open Access, where anyone can come and use the computer for a variety of needs. Periodic courses are offered in basic computer skills, advanced computer skills (Photoshop, etc) as well as workshops in Conversational English (Spanish & Russian), Personal Finances, and the like.

Kingston Learning Center

In 2012, Operation P.E.A.C.E. opened a Computer Learning Center in Kingston, MA within the Silver Lake Homes assisted living community. In doing so, we saw an opportunity to help serve the residents by offering computer and technology learning courses. Two days a week, a qualified staff member is on site, offering one-on-one computer classes. Ranging from basic tasks like setting up email, to more advanced instruction such as learning how to apply for jobs online, Operation P.E.A.C.E. is ready to be of service.
